Conditions
The conditions of internships in Mauritius are similar to other destinations but also offer a very pleasant living environment on a sunny island:
- High-quality professional internship in a 3 to 5 stars hotel.
- Enjoy a unique opportunity to gain experience in the hospitality field.
- 35 hours per week on average in the company.
- 1 or 2 days off per week (usually not during weekends).
- In charge of helping a team with different missions (reception, bookings, customer service, …).
- Accommodation arranged in shared apartments with other participants coming from all over the world.
- Our team will be available for you during your internship in Mauritius.

When to get your internship in Mauritius?
Departures to Mauritius take place all year round, with an average duration of 3 to 6 months. We’ll need from 6 to 8 weeks to get you a residence permit after your placement has been confirmed. That’s why we recommend to submit your complete application (see below) as soon as possible and no later than 4 months before the desired departure date.

Who can participate?
This program is open to candidates with the following profile:
- Student status is mandatory.
- Hospitality background & experience.
- Aged 18 to 30.
- Available for 3 to 6 months.
- Minimum B1/B2 level of English proficiency or willing to take English classes before departure.
- Able to show a proof of minimum around 3000 € on your bank account (out of program and accommodation fees – requested by immigration services).
- Positive attitude, dynamic, and able to adapt to a new professional environment abroad.

Program fees
- Supplement for a paid internship 250 € per month: 250 € (for students with complete application processed min. 6 months before departure – available for 6 months – with a first experience and advanced English (C1/C2).
- Online registration below:
- Program fees to be paid in 3 steps:
- Deposit of €150 before the interview, refunded in case your application will not be accepted (excluding €75 administrative fee).
- 50% of the remaining fees charged when starting the search and balanced at placement confirmation stage (please see guidelines below).
- Our internships abroad are 100% guaranteed. We only accept candidates we can place. We’ll actively look for a company to find your internship as quick as possible. You do not need to apply to hundreds of offers as we contact companies on your behalf. That’s why we can offer you to refund your fees back in case no interview will be organised (see conditions to download below, excluding application fees).
- We can guarantee your internship placement and give help for accommodation booking. However, your internship stipend cannot be guaranteed. We usually focus on the quality of placements, accessible with no experience and even without being fluent in english.
- Candidates able to bring a real value to the company will have a chance to get a paid internship (C1 level English, available for 6 months, experience and excellent profile).
- Accommodation rates are very competitive in Mauritius.
- Please note that additional fees will be charged for last minute registration (see conditions below)
Global budget
Here some information about additional budged needed to make an internship in Mauritius:
- Flight: From 800 to 1200 € on average.
- Visa (in-person submission of your file to immigration office): €350.
- Insurance: from 50 € per month.
- Accommodation: from 300 € per week (room to share – to be paid in advance).
- Accommodation deposit: 1 month, refunded at the end of the stay.
- Accommodation booking fees : 100 €.
- Immigration services will require a proof of sufficient financial resources to live for a few months in Mauritius (usually € 3000 in your own or a close relative’s bank account).
We recommend you travel with some savings to fully enjoy your stay abroad.
